It’s Labor Day weekend… want to avoid traffic and stay close to home? We’ll be open… come out and see us. You can stay out of your car by riding the SMART train or your bike too.  Lots of fresh, delicious summer foods will be ready for you to take home- veggies, fruits, seafood, meat, baked goods, bread and more. Join the Center for Well-Being at the West End Farmers’ Market September 3rd & 24th to learn about purchasing nutritious food at your local farmers market! Look for the teal Center for Well-Being banner and come taste a free nutritious recipe with ingredients purchased from vendors at the market and a free cookbook filled with nutritious recipes that you and your family can create at home! West End Beer Garden– If you like the idea of having a delicious, cold Lagunitas beer in a park with live music in the sunshine right next to shopping – then you’re in luck! The West End Farmers Market’s Beer Garden is open every Sunday through October. Beer served by Sonoma County Roller Derby team…. What’s not to like about that?

Revive Kombucha– The West End Farmers Market is very proud to be offering Revive Kombucha as a non-alcoholic alternative beverage in our beer garden. Revive Kombucha is a family owned craft kombucha brewery launched in Sonoma County in 2010. It is organic, vegan, raw, packed with probiotics and really tasty, and you soon be asking for more.

Live music every Sunday. Check out the coolest market in town and enjoy top-notch performances at Santa Rosa’s West End Farmers Market’s Hootenanny Stage. Music from 11 to 2. Mark McDonald- Authentic Blues, Delta style. Mark has played with many of the original Delta Greats and wants to bring you a bit of that. Tunes provided by Second Octave Entertainment.

SMART train begins service in North Bay    You can ride SMART to the West End Farmers Market. Get SMART’s eTicket App or a Clipper card to ride SMART. Adult Clipper cards are available for purchase at any SMART fare machine, online at clippercard.com, or at participating transit agency ticket offices and retailers. Through Labor Day, SMART fares and the 31-Day Pass are 50% off. Youth, seniors, and passengers with disabilities using a Clipper discount card will continue to receive a 50% discount after Labor Day.

WIC & Senior Farmers’ Market Checks accepted. The WIC Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) is a 100 percent federally funded program which provides low-income seniors and families with check booklets that can be used to purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, cut herb and honey at Certified Farmers’ Markets (CFM).

WEFM Market Match– Yes! We accept EBT and offer a $25 match. So it’s easy to purchase fresh, local veggies, fruit, meat, seafood and more.  Our EBT sponsors have given away thousands of dollars in local food to our community.
