At this week’s market we are delighted to announce a new vendor: Stemple Creek Ranch- 100% Angus all natural grass-fed beef and all natural grass-fed lamb. Stemple Creek Ranch is a family owned and operated cattle ranch in Tomales. The Poncia family have lived and farmed on the same ranch site for 100 + years ever since Angelo Poncia settled in the US from Italy 1902. Today, Angelo’s grandson and great-grandson still operate the family’s business raising all natural, grass-fed beef and lamb. Their animals eat organic clover and grass and are never subjected to artificial hormones, growth promotants, or antibiotics.

Spring Hill Jersey Cheese is a certified organic, handcrafted, artisan estate cheese. The homestead cheese is made from the milk of owner Larry Peter’s herd of pasture-grazed Jersey cows on the Spring Hill Dairy just west of Petaluma in Sonoma County. The milk of Jersey cows contains a higher butterfat content, resulting in an incomparable rich and creamy flavor. Spring Hill has a broad line of cheeses including: Quark, Butter, and a range of Cheddars and Jacks, which are offered (in addition to their traditional forms) in a variety of natural herb and spice flavors including garlic, pesto, and sage.  All this and ICE CREAM too? Yes it is true… enjoy ice cream freshly made at Spring Hill’s creamery- they’ll be serving Vanilla and Blueberry.
