Bees Love Local Farmland

Sep 10, 2013 in Updates

Kiss the Flower and BeeLove Honey company is thrilled to be involved with the West End Farmers Market. Kiss the Flower/BeeLove Honey currently has eight apiary location in Sonoma County. The famed horticulturist Luther Burbank described So. Co. as “… the chosen spot of all earth as far as Nature is concerned” and this is certainly true for our local honeybees, blessed with an abundance of diverse bloom. Kiss the Flower currently offers Mount Taylor wildflower, Barnett Valley blackberry and Star Thistle from the base of Sonoma Mountain.  We are excited to meet young farmers at the WEFM committed to sustainable and biodynamic farming practices in line with our own beekeeping practices.  We are looking forward to placing powerful and healthy beehives on WEFM’s own Handlebar Farm, Sprawling River Farm and Wyland Orchards. This collaborative work will provide enhanced pollination resulting in higher fruit and vegetable yields. Tasty honey too!
